Children's Music Training!
We are in the
process of developing further our music program for children and
providing them with more training here at Millwood Christian Church.
We wanted to make you aware that every Sunday morning during
Children’s Church there is time being set aside so we can give music
training for all who attend.
This process
includes singing, ear training, pitch recognition, as well as
rhythm, melody and harmonic fundamentals of music. Throughout the
summer we will be placing special emphasis on the Children’s music
program. This is a great opportunity for children who either have
talent, or for those children who are interested in developing their
musical skills further.
Of course, the more your child is here on Sunday mornings, the more
training and benefits are to be gained. So we encourage you to have
your child here as much as possible. Your child’s participation and
your support of our future musical efforts is very much needed and
appreciated!

STOCK INVESTMENT
The Youth
of our church are offering you the investment of a a
lifetime!
They will
be selling shares of stock for their mission trip.
A stock
share(s) entitles you to:
- Communication from the
youth while on the trip.
- An invitation to the
stock holders dinner to be held upon their return. At
this dinner you will hear the youth tell about the trip.
- The satisfaction of
helping to grow God's kingdom one teenager at a time!
Shares sell
for $25.00 each and there is no limit on how many shares you
may purchase!
It is a great investment!

Pentecost Special Offering
We will continue to receive the special
Pentecost offering this Sunday. Again, the offerings are
being collected by Christian Churches all over the country
to help support new church development.

Our Minister of Music,
Dave Arivett, has donated 100 of his worship CD's. It is a
wonderful CD and includes many of the songs we sing on
Sunday morning.
We will have a display set up in church. We are asking
for a $10.00 donation for each CD. 100% of the proceeds
will go to shrink the debt!

Camp Millwood
is now taking registrations for the upcoming summer.
Camp Millwood
is a full time summer day camp for those who have completed
K-6th grade. It operates from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. M-F
from June 5 - August 10. For additional information visit
