Therefore we bow in awe as we respond with wonder, amazement , and gratitude at the incredible grandeur of all creation. We cherish the earth and all its creatures, the stars in all their glory, and the miracle of our own existence. We humbly recognize and bow before the Mystery. It is a miracle just to be!
God's gifts of grace and love flow to everyone- not just to the chosen few. God's loving presence is available to everyone regardless. God doesn't play favorites! We are all made in the image of God. Therefore there are no little people or no little places with God. Whatever your position might be in life you are someone very special and the Creator shares his gifts with all!
Therefore we find ourselves on common and equal ground as we participate together as a community in our prayers, our songs, our silence, our words, and in the breaking of bread. As we gather together our focus is upon recognizing and experiencing God's presence in all of our lives.
Therefore we do not require anyone to subscribe to a particular set of affirmations. The ultimate truth about God cannot be captured in a few narrow statements on faith. However, we firmly believe that God has spoken most clearly through the life of Jesus Christ. His spirit, example, and teachings speak much louder than just mere words. As followers of Christ we strive to put His words into practice day by day as we live out our lives.
As we join together we set our minds and thoughts upon the goodness of God and count the many blessings that have been bestowed upon us. An overwhelming sense of gratitude can be felt and experienced that leads into celebration for all the bountiful gifts we have been given. We celebrate the goodness of God! Amen! |
